Graduation Project - The Drunken Beauties on Gauze

My graduation project - the two minutes lighting show of theatrical gauze painting of the Drunken Beauties and calligraphy piece, has it’s root deeply in Chinese art as part of my growing experience.

​The work combines of the two different art pieces with theatre lighting. It depicts a scene of the Drunken Beauties (on theatre gauze set in front ) with the calligraphy poem on Canvas beneath. With the light casting on layers of the two different works, a transition of image was enable to recreate the story of the scene from traditional Chinese opera.
